February 23, 2008, the fifth and next to last session for the year.

During final preparations for your project, please harken back to the original intent of our program, captured quite well in a quote at Mark Nichol's TeachingTeachers.com site on Digital Storytelling:

"Human beings are naturally predisposed to hear, remember, and to tell stories. The problem for teachers, parents, governments leaders, friends, and computers is to have more interesting stories to tell." - Roger Schank, Tell Me a Story.

Quite simply, the question for you as Alliance for Teacher Excellence members is to capture what stories your students are telling about what they are learning, or about personal situations, relationships, and events going on in their lives.

Other considerations for your final projects are outlined by Eric this morning in the document below.

Another thing to keep in mind is the valuable (written) feedback you will receive from others.
Each participant will evaluate the presentations of others hand it to them at the end of the presentation.
